I paint to express the vibrancy of everyday life: its rhythm, colour and joy. My large-scale acrylic works translate the intensity of lived experience into bold compositions where emotion and design converge. Each painting begins with a clear, confident gesture: my brushstrokes are direct and physical, shaping the canvas with energy rather than deliberation. While my motifs often draw on the world around me — flowers, interiors and familiar scenes — they are transformed through reduction. I simplify, distil and reconstruct. What remains is the essence: the pulse of colour, the strength of form and the balance between structure and spontaneity.

 

The influence of the Wiener Werkstätte is evident in my work through my devotion to the unity of art and life and my fascination with pattern, ornament and surface. I don't see repetition and decoration as embellishment, but as rhythm — a visual music that connects beauty with function and the personal with the universal. For me, ornament is not a retreat into the decorative, but a declaration of joy and coherence. My brushwork celebrates the handmade, the imperfect and the human. Each line conveys a sense of both control and release, reflecting a dialogue between freedom and form.

 

The result is a painting that has a strong presence — intense yet balanced, expressive yet composed. Through colour, pattern and gesture, I seek to create spaces of vitality and harmony where the exuberance of modern life and the clarity of design can coexist — vivid and unmistakably alive.
